To care for your Drowsy silk products, we recommend the following practice:

Always use a pH-neutral liquid detergent or one specifically labelled for silk. Avoid acidic or alkaline solutions as they can harden the silk.

For maximum longevity, hand washing is recommended.

If machine washing, ensure that the water temperature below 30°C to prevent dramatic changes in the silk. Cold water or one step above cold is safest. Consider using a delicates bag to prevent wear and tear of your pillowcase in your washing machine.

When drying, avoid exposing the silk to sunlight after washing. Lay it flat in a well-ventilated area to dry naturally. UV light can cause fading and aging of silk.
