We recommend this tea iced if you suffer from hot flushes…hot tea is the last thing you want! But keep cold tea in the fridge so it’s on hand whenever you need it. Use 3 whole leaf tea bags in a 1 litre jug. Cover with c. 2 inches of freshly boiled water, wait for 30 seconds. Top up with cold water. Store in door of the fridge for 4-6 hours (max. 24 hours). Enjoy whenever you like!
And if you'd like to drink it hot, simply use 1 whole leaf tea bag per 300ml of water. Add freshly brewed water and infuse for 3-5 minutes. The whole leaf means you can brew this tea at least twice - just give the second brew slightly longer.
A refreshing, herby blend. With green tea top notes, and a sweetness from the liquorice, combining with fresh, grassy herbal tones.
- Raspberry Leaf - used traditionally to support female wellbeing as a traditional 'uterine tonic'
- Ginseng - Research shows that ginseng can help ease hot flushes
- Green Tea - American research shows green tea can help with osteoperosis and bone loss in menopausal women
- Gingko Biloba - linked to helping mood & breast tenderness in research
- Valerian Root- The blend is carefully designed to contain enough Valerian Root to help relax you

Why do we experience hot flashes during perimenopause?
Even though it's not exactly clear what hormonal changes trigger hot flashes, but some studies suggest that it might be due to your body’s thermostat becoming more sensitive to changes in body temperature. This tends to occur as your body matures and your oestrogen levels decrease during your transition to menopause.
Because of these factors, your body's thermostat might trigger a hot flash to cool you down.

Did you know that hot flashes can last an average of 3–5 years?
In some cases, they might even last ten years or more. When you're experiencing them, they might last around four minutes but might even go on for more than ten minutes.
They usually come on suddenly, and the experience differs from woman to woman — some might consider them merely annoying, and others might find them more severe, disrupting their daily schedule.

Our clinical team says...
Since your transition to menopause begins with decreasing oestrogen levels, your healthcare provider might recommend hormone therapy. If you haven’t had your ovaries or uterus surgically removed, you might benefit from a combination of progesterone and oestrogen. Some combination hormonal medications may positively impact bone health.

The good news: menopause symptoms typically reduce over time. As you reach post-menopause, symptoms tend to grow milder with time, if not disappear completely, for most women.
